Samourai Wallet Developers Arrested
The founders of the bitcoin wallet Samourai Wallet were arrested on April 24. According to the indictment, they were charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to operate unlicensed money-transmitting business offenses and face up to 25 years for the alleged crimes.

US House passes FISA Section 702 reauthorization bill (Due to expire April 19)
The Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act reauthorizes Section 702 for two years, through April 2026. The ACLU and its partners will work until then to ensure that Congress is finally able to address the severe and long-standing constitutional problems with this authority.
